A new home for MACTHEPIPES bagpipe covers

McIntyres is now open for business - over the next few days / weeks / months we will be adding more exiting products to the website. The site is brand new, so if you experience any problems please just let us know by getting in touch  via the contact us link at the bottom of every page.

We are the same folks from MacThePipes bagpipe covers. We hope in time to bring you everything bagpipe related to our shiny new website; time, funds & the fates allowing. If you have a news item or an idea for something you would like to see - just give us a shout.

F.Y.I. www.macthepipes.com will be used in future exclusively for booking our piping services. Folks landing on the site will be offered a redirect to the McIntyres site for bagpipe covers & the like. We took the decision to move and seperate the two as the site wasn't set up to handle large amounts of traffic.

Pipefest 2010

We will be there, will you? If you don't already know, pipefest is huge gathering of pipers and drummers uniting to support charities worldwide. Players will be taking part at locations all over the world. Locations include Edinburgh, New York, Ottawa, Hong Kong, Sydney & Lahore. If you've never been before it really is a sight to behold and well worth supporting.

Piping Live coverage on the BBC

Coverage of the excellent Piping Live is now available on the BBC's iplayer website, not sure how long it will be available or if its viewable to those outside the United Kingdom but well worth trying. Its great to see BBC Alba covering these events - long may it last.
